April 2016 Round Up

I have had a pretty good month, I took my English professional skills test and passed; which I am really happy about. I just have to go do my Math’s test now. We celebrated both my parents birthday’s this month. I visited Pulp Kitchen a couple of times this month, if you live in Southend or are visiting then check them out. Their produce is so fresh and tastes amazing, nothing is pre-made (apart from the amazing cake) and all smoothies are done fresh.

I’ve also gotten into Yoga again this month. I forgot how rewarding a yoga session can be, I have been crouched over a desk a lot this month practicing for my math’s test and stretching out my back is such a satisfying feeling. I also love the feeling of peace I get after a session of yoga. It’s relaxing and I think I will be trying to fit it in my routine at University.

Buying…

I have been on a book buying ban this month, it was surprisingly not as hard as I thought it was going to be. My friend Amy has joined me on this venture and as she rightfully said that we have saved a lot of money. I haven’t exactly made a huge dent in my TBR but I do feel like I can make progress and I realise that now I have a kindle I don’t need to buy loads of books but focus on the books that I want to read and I know I am going to read.

ASOS

I picked this cotton bandeau dress up for my brother’s graduation from ASOS (X) I got it with 20% off so I got it for £12.00 instead of £15.00. I love the dress, it is a soft jersey cotton and looks good without being too fancy, so it will be smart enough for the event.

Loving …

Forest Feast Street Food (X)

Forest Feast

If you know me I love some nuts and Pick n Mix stuff so when I was looking down the nut isle and saw these packs and decided to try some I chose the Louisiana Hickory Barbecue  and Ir de Tapas. I definitly preferred the BBQ ones but they are a tasty snack and would be good for dinner parties.

Watching….

Chicago Med

I don’t usually do medical dramas but I was watching HTGAWM on Universal and the advert for Chicago Med was on constantly and it really intrigued me so I thought I would check out the first episode and I wasn’t disappointed I have a couple of episodes to  watch still but I do reccomend. I want to watch Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D which are part of the same ‘Chicago’ universe.

NBC

Catfish Season 5

Season 5 of Catfish: The TV Show started this month and I love this show so I have been watching this religiously every Monday night. This has been another amazing season and I love every minute of it.
